Can anyone write up a "How-To" on removing the piece around the shift on an automatic tranny? I've painted my plastic pieces on the doors, my a.c. vents, center stack on dash, piece around gauge cluster all white to match exterior (pieces were originally silver). The whole car is black and white except that 1 piece I can't figure how to get out and it is seriously pissing me off every time I get in and see 1 f!$%#$%$%^ silver piece!!! Any help would be appreciated. (p.s. I already did a search and can't find anything on removing it)

If you can find it, look for Part No. 88964968, pages 3 & 4 of 12. This is the installation instrucitons of the Pontia G6 Trim Kits. I'll try to scan it.
