How do I remove the shift Knob, and replace it?

How do i remove the shifter Knob on the 6 speed manual to replace it with a custom billet aluminum one that I turned out on a lathe?

#1 - do a search
#2 - pull it straight it off (pull really hard). There's a spring in there that will go flying out when you pull it off so make sure you put it back.
