you know what... me included would normally say you need bigger rims, but I dont mind the 16's at least in the pics... they look good becaue the bigger tire fills the gap... kudos to you, I really like the look of it!!

Wow! I've got to say, just appearance-wise you've really transformed the base G6. There's a lot of added character there, and that's pretty impressive considering the base G6 is one of the only cars in that class and price range that DOES have some character stock. Very tastefully done, the red doesn't look overdone or cheap looking. As for the exterior, the black-tint-on-black-car-on-black-rims look definitely doesn't say "value leader". I betcha most people who see that wouldn't think it's just an N/A 4-cyl.

thanks for the compliments guys. I had the look that i wanted for this car planned out before i even got it. The way i saw it i could do more "custom" modification to a car that wasn't already fully loaded so to speak

OMG YOU FOUND A WORKING INTAKE FOR THE ECOTEC!

Gimme details where you got it and the exact model. I have been searching everywhere, Ive tried custom, and a ecotec owner in here tried a 2.2 cobalt intake and it threw a code and bogged his engine. It was ebay brand tho.

              wow im pumped.

this is still a cobalt intake but its for the 2.4. It doesnt bog down the engine although it did mess with the gear ratio a bit. you can get rid of the code by either doing a tune or go in and manually change the code. As far as im concerned as long as it doenst bog and i pass emissions it was worth it.

Nice, the red accents really set off the interior.

Gear ratio? Are you talking about that horrible screetch noise when it shifts gears?
