  • Do 245/45ZR18 's rub?

If anybody knows for sure, that'd be great. I'd hate to put $600 into new shoes and have them rub. Thanks all!

Also, a side note. I've read that the BF Goodrich KDW are some of the best tires to buy for performance, but are loud as hell. Has anybody else experienced good traction pick-up, handling but been able to leave the mud tire sound behind? Cheers.

Not sure if they will rub or not but the KDW is an amazing tire. But just make sure you get the KDW 2 because the first ones were pretty noisy. The second version has better grip as well all around.

So by that, is it safe to assume that the KDW 2's are quieter?

Yes they are noticeably quieter, not that the first gen was 'that' bad though.

I think they WILL fit... but actual experience would be nice

Same question here. Other option is to ask a rep from whoever you order them from. If the rep says they'll fit and they dont... you can send them back.

I have 245X40 18's on mine and will be installing the eibachs on wednesday. I will let you know since it isn't much different than the 245X45 18's. I hope they don't because I will be pissed if they do.

i have 245/40/18 on mine. There is maybe a two finger gap between the tire and shock collar. I was talking to my tire guy and he said 45's will be iffy due to the wheel turning radius and when the car bottoms out it could rub

Get the wheel spacer kit from Eibach. That will fix all of your problems.

Hey ryan are those different tires you have on there or stock 225/50-18? Also how much of a drop is that? I like!

EDIT: forget it after further evaluation i'm certain they're stock, but i am curious about how much of a drop that is rear n front.

They do fit. I just got mine lowered yesterday and it looks and feel just fine. I'll have pics later on. I'm at work right now.
