  • New member and GXP Progression

Hello everyone! MidwestGXP here. I have been lurking/learning about G6's for awhile from this website and g6ownersclub. I am known as Stridex over there, but havent posted alot.

I recently started hitting the car hard and decided I should come here to show off, get help, and make friends.

I have a 2008 Black G6 GXP Streed Edition. I bought it two years ago with 15,000 miles on it and now has about 45k.

What it came with : When I bought it the only thing that was done was 15% window tint. (I need to redo it)

What I've done: 40 Series Flowmaster camaro muffler, single inlet, dual outlet with 3" stainless steel tips. Resonator still on(Soon to be replaced with high flow), custom CAI with Spectre cone filter and custom front pipe to come, 91 octane WAMS tune, arraid throttle body spacer, blacked out taillights, black housing halo projector headlights, black 18" wheels with Goodyear LS2 tires, de-badged except for GXP emblems, interior LED underglows under the seats and under the dash. 12" Kicker CVR in Ported bass box.

    Stock

    Progression

12" Kicker CVR in Ported Box with 750watt Kicker amp

    Debadged

    RIP 10000k HID's

    Tinted tail lights

    New Wheels and Tires!

    Just got em on

    BLACK HOUSING HALOS

I'm sure there is alot that I have left out. I will post more pictures in this thread as I take them. To come: Engine bay, interior pics, and lowering springs.

    Thank you for your feedback/comments/appreciation!

It looks good, man. I like it. Do you have any other plans for it? I have the 08 GXP sedan. I just hit 40,000 miles on mine.

Well I plan on removing the resonator within the next few weeks and I am in the process of looking at lowering springs now. After that I will probably be done as there isn't much more performance wise.

I've thought about doing that many times. I keep considering it all the time haha.
