Hello, Ive had my 2006 Base G6 for almost a year now. I decided to keep it.
Not positive sounding i know. Ive had suspension, headgasket, waterpump,
computer, thermostat, coil, and radio issues so far. Also, the exhaust, front
lower valence, and pad above steering wheel has been modified to mount;
a turbo, a turbo intercooler, and a turbo timer (respective locations) but all
these items did not come on the car when i purchased it. Maybe it was just
a "fitment" vehicle or whatever, cause i've read that a turbo G6 is not a realistic option.
Soo.... A lot of it is not the specific cars fault as it was the previous OWNERS(S) fault.
See.... my car was originally a rental car. I acquired it from my wifes friend to help her out.
Thats when i started having issues. I guess im a sucker for a lost cause,
but i love the styling lines of the car, and parts can be replaced.
My car currently is as follows:
2.4L auto
Cobalt 2.4L header w/ modified exhaust (stock muffler)
18" Cobalt SS rims with 225 50 R18 BFG's
Sprint lowering springs (too low)
Full tint
Carbon fiber window post kit
Blacked out chrome
