As the title says, I have a bumper off of my 2008 G6 GXP for sale. It has some slight damage...I'll give the history here:
I bought the car without any knowledge that it'd been in a small fender bender. Found out later that the front bumper had been repaired ( I never noticed until I took it off the car..even then the body shop showed me ). I was taking the bumper in to get the front holes where the license plate goes filled because I'd decided I couldn't bare with the ugly license plate anymore. They took and scraped at some of the filler in the small area that had been damaged on the front-end while preppin' it to be re-finished. That's why there's gouges in it. The car looked like it had a hitch from a truck go through it in that fist-sized area on the left. I ended up finding a sweet deal on a bran-new bumper that I couldn't pass up for the added cost as opposed to repairing mine. I was planning on keeping it around for a spare in case I get in a fender bender myself or hit a curb someday, but unfortunately I live in a small place and I just don't have anywhere to keep it. So it's gotta go.
I'm selling the bumper for the best offer I get. I don't have an asking price. I'm located in the Virginia Beach area, and can help with delivery, but I'd prefer not to ship it unless you can tell me how
Showing where the filler was scraped at by the body shop:
Same, I'm not sure why they markered everywhere in green:
Overall shot, also you can see the hole from the license plate holder:
Backside of where the filler is, you can hardly tell it's there. Just some slight ripple:
The good side:
Front, showing license plate holes and damage on the left:
This is a perfect bumper for someone who knows a friend or owns a body shop. If I knew somebody who would just smooth it all over, fill the holes and sand it down I would've done that instead of buying new. Unfortunately I don't and I'd have to pay someone labor for all that work. Labor in this part of the state is expensive too....
Note that this is the bumper only, I don't have extra grill pieces or hardware for fastening anything together. Just the bumper that's in the pics.
I can provide more pics if requested.
Thanks for looking,
-Jesse
