  • Removing existing radio

I need to pull out the existing radio (6-CD changer) to see the wiring and I'm looking for instructions\advice on doing this. I haven't look at it yet but I always find it difficult trying to determine where to start first. I mean what plastic piece can be poped off or what screws need to be removed to get at the radio.
    Thanks.

You basically need to remove 3 screws under the driver side dash and the screws on the glovebox. Once you do this you'll see that the center dash piece around the radio was held in by two of those screws (one on each side...the one on the passenger side is accessible by squeezing the middle of the glovebox (when it's open), and pulling it down further. You'll see the screw I'm talking about...you can't get to it unless you squeeze the piece first while it's open and pull it down.) Then the center of the dash pops right out.
