  • Eibach Springs Installed! Pics

Well i have to say that i am highly impressed with this springs. They defetly did their homework when making these. The car looks totaly better. Its lower but not too low. The front to back jerking when taking off slowly with a manual car is gone. The ride is defently a little rougher but its not to bad at all, i like it. The car feels much more tighter. I got the slightest bit of vibration that u guys experience when lowering the 6er but i still haven't got it alighned yet. Its not bad at all though. Wasn't hard to install but your gonna need an air impact gun to get that top bolt of the front struts off. The bolt came right off with my impact gun. The top spring seat has to be indexed with the struts. There is a little notch in the mount and that has to be facing inward. The rear springs were cake. I put blocks of wood under the lower rear arm, lowered the jack untill the car was resting on blocks. Unbolted the lower arm, jacked the car back up so the spring would slowly expand it self and reverse the process when putting the new ones on.

Please excuse the road salt, it just snowed here. I did at least spray it off for u guys in the full pic :P:

even better for the coupes to see that the tire doesnt tuck with these springs...must be why they did the 1.7" in the back to flatten car out and avoid it sliding up

Jp i think you might have the backwards. I thought it was 1.5 in the rear and 1.7 in the front. Which would make the rear not tuck. I think

no...cause everyone kept wanting to know why they did more drop in the back....and i kept saying to level the car out

but now i am saying it was to avoid that tire looking weird inside the hole

Now that is the best I've seen a coupe lowered, that looks awesome. Just about perfect for that rear wheel.

Now I have a stupidly low car. I thought 'Crimson Red' owners stick together? I guess I'll take my stupidly low car, along with my dumb self to the 'Happy' place with the pretty white jackets.
