In theory its possible, its just never been done. I'd look into piecing together your own kit though.

Re: New and eager to learn

If I were going to make power in a 2.4, here's how I'd do it.

                        First, do some supporting mods.

Get HPT and learn the basics of using it.
                        Get some Megan Racing coilovers
Light weight rims, and good tires
Brembo brakes, above 120mph factory brakes suck massive donkey d*ck
                        Racingline STB
Get a full exhaust, custom long tube header, mandrel bent stainless steel also go catless if possible(I'd also get a GXP valance and run duals for looks.)

After doing this, I'd build the driveline

                        Forged pistons
                        New rods
                        OEM bearings
Balance shaft delete (don't do neutral shafts, just delete them)
                        ZZP Cams
                        Euthanasia ported head
                        Upgraded valve springs
Siemens 60LB injectors, good for 350 horse
                        LSJ, or LS4 TB
Call ZZP about their 4t45 in a G6
                        ATI super balancer
                        Lightweight alternator pulley

This should put you around 200 WHP, that's about a 30% increase over factory. That also should put you at stock GXP performance level.

Then, after the rest is done

Used m62 and intake manifold from a Cobalt SS
                        Cobra heat exchanger
                        New coolant pump
                        Map sensor
                        Intake
                        New idler pulley?

                        ????????? (Everything else needed).

Find a good tuner, for getting it ll tuned. Total cost? A lot. Final power level? 300-400 WHP.
