  • GM Customer Service Representative

    I would like to introduce myself as a Customer Assistance Representative from the GM Social Media group. The GM Social Media team is responsible for scanning over ninety forums, including this one, in order to provide customer service to those who utilize them. While we are not able to provide technical assistance, we are able to help in terms of customer assistance (recall information, product/service issues, current incentives, etc). We are looking forward to assisting those with concerns on the site. I can understand and appreciate you wanting to ensure that this is a legitimate outreach from GM. We are excited to be a part of this online community and hope that we are able to provide some assistance here.

        Ha! That is a great question. Currently we do not have any plans bringing Pontiac back, however, I will definitely document the feedback into our database.

                              Its ashame GM didnt have a rep here 4 years ago, I had issues and the GM customer sevice at that time sucked and the manager that tryed to help me sucked, was usless, and was extremely rude when I had issues with my G6 GTP. That guy hung the phone up on me when he could not answer some of my technical questions. Ultimatly that manager cost you a customer as I went to Ford when I finally replaced my G6 last summer.

                              But I will say your customer service has improved in the last 2 years. One of your other online reps on another site helped me when the paint was peeling on my new Chevy Express and got it repainted. Then did a good follow up job and was very helpfull when my wife's Pontiac Torrent GXP transmition went.
