  • New Tires For the G-Ride....

    Need y'alls experties on this one. I would like to get a set of Toyo Proxes 4s for my car, but they do not have our size 225/50R17. But they do sell them in 245/45R17. This is the comparason #s below. Do you think they will fit my stock 17in rims? Thanks in advance.

    im pretty sure someone else on here has some 245's. you should be ok as long as youre not any lower than stock ride height. i still have the stock tires so wait for some more opinions before you press 'buy'.

    look for lower highway mileage with a wider tire though. but definaly increased grip/handling

      They'll work fine. 225 to a 245 is only 1 cm more on each side of the tire. Since your overall diameter was off by less than 1%, you shouldn't have any trouble with them.

        How wide are the stock 17s? If they are 7" it should be okay.

            Thats cool And the speed being off 0.66% is still with in factory specs esp for the older cars!
