Hey, has anyone ever used or even seen this stuff before? The logic makes sense, but not sure if it would really work

Its $30, and I dont know about elsewhere but photo radar and lights are becoming alot more common here in Cali

While your purchasing that... get urself some Muffler Bearings too

I doubt that stuff would work, the photo radar maybe but you'd basically have to paint your license plate to hit it. I remember MythBusters did that show on trying to fool the radar/lazer and nothing worked... But hey, you never know!

I can see this possibly working if the flash hits the plate well enough and the spray on substance actually does a good job of reflecting the light. I doubt it would work often and/or well though...just my opinion not knowing anything about it.

Here's how I could see it working:

        1) This paints a HIGHLY reflective
        2) The cammera photographs you head on so it bounces the light directly back at the cammera thus the 'flash blur'

I'm not possative on refracting light though, but I believe it would be bounced away from the cammera most of the time. I got it in an email from a spammer, looked over, then thought I'd get your guys opinion on it.

But it would only work if the photo radar uses a flash, right?

I don't think the photo radar uses a flash here unless it's dark out.

Yeah, a flash would be required...a bright flash at that.

I've heard the covers work well, at least from tv ads (like on the news).

              But this does work.

Veil G6 anti-police laser stealth coating is an effective defense to police laser/lidar guns. Now shipping the new and improved Veil G6.

you need to be traveling over 172 mph in order for a camera not to detect you.
and anythign that you put on there it will get you, and it will be even worse if you get cought using anything that may impair vision of your plate. big fine

                          gemballa,EVOMS,litronics,b&m...simply put, 110% stock

Actually Myth Busters just did a show on all the above items. Not a one worked. One style of plate cover (kinda) blurred out 1-2 of the digits on the plate, but they can still run the plate no problem. So while you get a can of that, why dont you check to see if they can do a GB on Flux capacitors for the G6s... :smoke:
