  • HPTuners VCM Suite Features

Anywayz right off the bat if your not already aware Im a beta tester & moderator on the HPTuners forum http://www.hptuners.com/forum/index.php we basically offer a tuning software package where you the end user get to read & modify your stock tune any way you choose. We do not offer starter files, but do offer a comprehensive help file http://www.hptuners.com/help/ as well as a
support forum with over 5200 members that are always willing to help new tuners. We have two basic packages

    MPVI Standard-$499

    MPVI Pro-$649

    Both interfaces come with:
    Our Scanning software
    Our Editing software
Enough credits to tune up to 4 pcm locked vehicles of your choice

Our Pro interface ADDs over the Standard interface
Standalone datalogging of up to 1hr 30 minutes meaning theres no need to have a laptop in vehicle while your logging, just bring the hardware with you to the vehicle, plug it in, hit record & go

You can use 0-5v signals from various sensors such as EGT, Wide Band, fuel pressure and others for sensor input in our scanner. You will have real time data from those sensors right next to your standard scan tool data such as TPS, RPM, MPH, etc. In the end this will help tremendously in tuning because you can log a wideband sensor for accurate fueling right against your rpm's just like you'd see on a dyno printout.

We literally offer support for hundreds of GM vehicles as you can see on our supported vehicles list http://www.hptuners.com/products/vcmsuite_vehicles.php our hardware is also capable of communicating with ford/dodge protocol meaning its only a matter of time before they'll be added to our supported list as well.

    We currently offer tuning for the 06-07 Pontiac G6 3.5 & 3.9 (3.5 in 07 only)

Here are some Flash demos of our program & how simple it is to navigate around http://www.hptuners.com/help/getting_started_demos.htm

And here are some screenshots of the scanner & editor software

Our Newest Release v2.1.16 has added:

        - almost 200 new parameters for GenIV (and some 4 cyl) including: DoD, Injector timing, Knock Sensor, Transient Fuel, Ignition OFF Fans and much more.
        - axis editing available for selected tables, vehicle dependant
        - GenIV traction control patch (MAF fail fixup as included in 2bar) now free

        Table Axis Editing
In this release selected tables for later vehicles allow axis editing, for example, the RPM axis on the main spark tables for the GenIV vehicles. If the axis is supported for editing, VCM Editor now allows you to modify that axis to suit your application. Whenever, you see an axis label that is underlined, simply click the label and the edit axis window will appear.

Vector has a pcm tune you just have to go to their shop to do it. Otherwise HP has had our engines since they came out but no info on the old 3.5
