I freakin fried one of my K2P's over the last couple of weeks. I hooked the ipod to the cleansweep and had the passenger side just a little too high and thought I had it right but I had a damn clipping signal coming out and cooked one of the voicecoils on my k2p's This sucks becaise these things are freakin expensive. Plus having double the rms didn't help either. Guess I will be ordering another set unless focal will sell me just one. Anyone have an extra just sittin around. cough cough troy???

Believe it or not I actually had 2 pairs of Focals up until last week, I used them in an install though and not to mention they were KP's not the K2P's. So that wouldn't have done you any good anyways, sorry bro
Although... I do have a pair of MB 216 Signature sitting in my closet.

Yeah those are damn nice too. I am just going to try to hunt down one driver though. No point in wasting the rest of thew component set cuz of one VC. What is funny is I didn't even notice it was cooked till I listened to a song that started with the passenger chan only. I was like wtf was that? Then after a lil troubleshooting I was able to tell I only had a tweet going on that side. damn. Shouldn't be too hard to track down a single driver for it, but then again you never know. MB has sold me single drivers several times so maybe Focal will do something for ya. Yeah I bet you wouldn't notice with the amount of SQ you got going, then again your bass probably drowns everything out
I have the MB's sitting aside for when the day finally comes that I will redo the stereo in my car, but I don't know if that will ever come soon
