  • I need some audio equipment opinions.

I currently have 2 2010 12" Kicker CVRS in a pre-fab'd Kicker box. You can check out my progression pics to see what they look like. I stumbled upon a guy who is willing to trade my cvrs for his 2 2008 Kicker L7 4ohms without boxes, straight up. I know the L7s definitely bump. I recently just got 3/4 MDF board from work thinking ahead of time and I was going to use it to build boxes. I'm thinking about keeping one of them and selling the other one. I was wondering if anyone has any opinions if I should do the trade or avoid them. By the way, my amp is a 2010 Kicker zx750.1 and it matches perfectly with the L7s RMS.

I'd just keep the cvr's. The l7s will have a slightly higher spl but overall the cvr's are a better sounding woofer.

Btw I should add, that 2 cvr's are going to hit harder and should better than one l7

Why will the 2 cvrs hit harder?

More cone area. Moves more air and ultimately will hit harder

You honestly won't really tell much of a difference (if any at all), so I'd keep the CVR's in there. But it's ultimately up to you and what you wanna do.
