    HELP! can i put down the rear seat? (sedan)

    I'm not sure if this is the right section. I've been having my car for a while and never really fully used my trunk. But I need to put down the rear seat because now i have to move something big with my G6, and the trunk is not big enough.
    I looked around the rear seat for a buckle or something so I can lower it but cannot find it anywhere. Does it mean the rear seat just can't be lowered for a sedan? Or simply I didn't find the magic buckle? If so, can anyone tell me where it is? it would be best if there's a picture showing where it is.

    the 2 handles top right on the inside of the trunk (not trunk lid) theyre the light grey handles

      This. Pull the handles and they will unlatch the seat so you can pull them down from the inside or reach back and push them through.

        Exactly right. When I first got my G6, I too didn't know where the hell the latches were to bring the back seats down. I felt really stupid later after I found them.

          I know this is an old thread but does anyone know how to get the seats down if those handles have been broken? They both got broken on my car trying to get a large stroller out of the trunk and now I can't get the seats down. Alternatively anyone know a good way to fix them? the plastic parts snapped off and I can't seem to get at the plastic pieces at the ends of the cables to reliably glue them back together without gluing the handles to their housing.

            You can do what I do and carry needle nose pliers in my car...
