  • Very interesting mailing/e-mail from Pontiac

Yes, Pontiac - I got a card in the mail and also an e-mail offering 4 free oil changes and tire rotations in the next 12 months. Good deal, but what was really intriguing is that it wasn't from GM with the Chevy, Buick, Cadillac and GMC logos, but from Pontiac with the arrowhead logo.

The front of the card says:

    At Pontiac,
We want our owners to feel confident. Always.
So if we can give you a world-class ownership experience...
And make you feel valued in every possible way...we will.

    And on the inside:

To find a GM Dealer where your vehicle can be serviced,
    visit mycertifiedservice.com/pontiacdealers

Now it does of course refer to a "GM Dealer" to get service, and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be bringing Pontiac back this soon, if at all, but still o_O....

Hmmm....is there a date on the postage maybe. The mail man could've lost it and just delivered it. It's happened to me before.

I just got the email too, it's good at any GM dealer. They are just trying to get bodies in the dealership since it's no cost to them, they get reimbursed. Be prepared to have them "suggest" paid service, but they can't force you to do anything, just take advantage of the free goods!
