  • Problem with system using stock head unit

    Hello guys,
Im having trouble getting my system to work. I have the OEM 2 channel high low converter and i connected it to my 6x9 speakers. I hooked the rca's to my amp but when i give power to my amp it only pushes my sub out and holds it until it loses power. When i play something on the radio it stays pushed out. I thought it was a bad connection to my sub but i checked it and there seems to be no problem with the connection. If anyone has any idea of what it might be i would appreciate any input.

I am trying to hook up 2x Rockford Fosgate Hx2's with a 500watt Rockford Fosgate monoblock

    Thanks

sounds like there may be a problem with your amp. Amplifiers send AC current to your speaker which allows it to move back and forth. If the amplifier was producing DC current, it would cause the speaker to move in only 1 direction, like your experiencing. I would have your amplifier checked out.
