I'm replacing my factory Monsoon speakers with Infinity and wanted some opinions, especially for the rear. I'm probably going with Kappa 60.9cs in the front and the Kappa 63.9i or Kappa 693.9i in the rear. I'm leaning toward the 6x9 in the rear. Or possibly the 60.9cs as another option.
Should I go with 3-ways in the back or just 2-ways? Or component with adapters for the tweeters? Please tell me why and not just a general "3-way", "2-way", or "component".
Just making sure, on any speakers I choose, leave out or cut off the supplied crossovers and just connect the correct wires for tweeter and woofer to each terminal on the speakers.
I know I could get better speakers but I have a thing for Harmon-Kardon and I don't feel like spending more money. Got other mods to do.
