HVAC Control Unit Bulb Size

I opened up my HVAC control unit thinking I could just solder new LEDs to replace the burned out ones, just like I did on the instrument cluster. I opened it up to find that they are not LEDs, but regular bulbs. I took some pics. I'd love to find an LED replacement. I also can see why our dash lighting fades to pink, the bulbs have "red" covers on them. Anyone know what bulb type this is?

it's no known size.

it's a bulb with loose wire leads.

i've scoured everywhere for them. i gave up and just converted the whole unit to leds.

I found exact replacement LED's that come in the plastic housing with built in resistor's, they bolt right in like the stock ones. The only reason I haven't ordered them yet is because it s amin. $25 order and $18 Shipping if its outside the USA. I will probably get around to ordering them in a month or two.
