As I was getting into my car yesterday, I went to close my door and the wind ripped it out of my hand and into some old car. The dent strip took the hit, it has some red on it, couldn't see anything on the other car.

These days I always park facing the wind, so the wind blows the door shut instead of open. Once had a truck that the wind blew the door open so hard that it bent the fender and door panel, and after that I couldn't open the door.

Works well for the cars around you too, as long as they all park the same direction. Then you don't have to worry about the wind grabbing their door and slamming it into your car.Comment

Driving home at lunch and got drilled by a huge brown dirt cloud. Full of rocks. I cringed as I heard them pinging the front end of the car. Gto my window rolled up in time though.
