Can anyone help me figure out why my head unit stopped working.
Last week i replaced my last aftermarket headunit (a crappy dual one) for a nice little alpine CDA-105. For about a week and a half it had worked great then last night as was driving home the head unit started freezing (as in i was playing my ipod and i hit next song and nothing happened) and then it shut off.
I pulled it out this morning and all of my wiring was intact. I used crimp caps. I actually redid the power and ignition wires but no go. The fuse appears to be intact also. No other issues, My metra kit works fine with DIC still reading the same Info. but the damned HU just will not show any signs of life.
