      Re: TPMS

as far as part #'s im not sure but there are 2 styles, one style has the metal valve stems (which looks better IMO) and these can be removed from one rim and reused, the other style is much like a regular rubber valve stem in look, cant be swapped between rims but i have heard that they ARE a bit more reliable and mor expenisve than the other type.

i have the first type in both sets of my wheels, and the ones on the stock chrometechs i have never had trouble with. the out of 4 i had put in my GTP rims, one of them now sometime will quit working for a few hours sometimes longer and then will start working again....... and this is only a year after they were installed......

The first design metal one changed to the black rubber I believe.

So is there no easily removable metal ones anymore? Would be nice to be able to swap the TPMS if I ever decided to change my rims again.

The metal on bolt onto the rim and the black ones just snap in.
