Factory Upmarket Radio

What does the upmarket radio have (i.e. the upgraded single-disc) over the basic one, other than a bigger screen and RDS?

I'm looking at this unit, and there's one for cheap. I'm just wondering if it's worth the work.

I didn't upgrade my door speakers when I first put it in. Sounded great.
