Funny you ask... I never did get al part number... I ordered the extra from Doctor Speed. I have received the filter, looked it up, and found nothing. I can tell you that the filter is 16.75 at the top, 18.5 at the bottom, and 5" tall... If my internet weren't so slow, I'd look it up. But - then dial-up sucks... Good luck...

There's no secret, I've used 7 different filters over the years. Anything that's around 6" long with a 3 inch flange will work. K&N lists something like 25 different filters that fall into this category. I'd say go for whatever you get the best price on. My prices are different of course, but usually the best retail price I see is for the RE-0930.

I can't say for sure, I've never used anything other than K&N's recharge kit.

Yeah, it may only be superstition, but I'd want to keep K&N kits with K&N filters and AEM kits with AEM filters...more to do with the residual chemicals interacting with a different recharge formula than anything else.

Maybe its all the same stuff though, but I sure don't know. Anyway, the K&N recharge kits are only $15 on eBay, so I sure wouldn't risk gumming up my intake/filter. Just my $0.02
