  • Alfa Romeo back in 2012

    http://www.autoblog.com/2010/02/16/marc ... -s-by-2012

Looks like I might've found the replacement for the loss of the Solstice... an Alfa Spider.

As they always say on Top Gear... you can never be a true petrolhead until you've owned an Alfa.

That doesn't look anything like a Solstice. It looks like a Malibu from the back of the hood back. Oh, and I agree you need to own an Alfa at some point in your life. Top Gear's awesome!

I've always loved the front of those cars, the back not so much, especially the hatchback

And FYI, that engine is actually a GM design, same family as the DI 3.6L.

Altho it is ungodly slow, and the rear end leaves much to be desired... I always loved the look of the Alfa Rameo Brera!!

                              vs.

I keep thinking the two are related for some reason... could be that this car existed before GM vs Fiat turned sour. If anything nothing says Fiat can't buy the platform off GM, improve it and re-release it. Besides what RWD platform does Fiat have other than the LX? But LX is way too big to release a Spyder type of car, and this car clearly has RWD proportions.
