They do list the 4T45E trans. Which is what my sunfire had.

                  That makes sense...

but doesn't really strike me as a great idea...

It firms up your shifts like a shift kit. I had one on my 04 sunfire and it would almost chirp going into 2nd gear.

They did work wonders on the cav/sunfires I hear, I know a lot of people who had them and said they were great. But I wouldn't put one in my car, didn't sound natural the way they worked and whatnot. Unreliable I mean.

usually you could just get a chip to firm up shifts with the automatic. but since nobody makes one yet...

C5's use a 4L60-E, so with those and the 4T60-E you could use parts out of the corvette trannys in a non-vette. i have a corvette forward apply servo and a longer shift pin in my jimmy and that thing slams the 1-2 and 3-4 shifts. i dunno if the 4T45 is closely related enough or not, but if it shares the same sized forward apply servo you could give it a shot.

the other thing you could do would be drop the pan and remove the accumulator springs. that would cause every shift to come on about as firm as possible. plus it's a free mod
