    Real(kinda) Chrome Door Handles

    Oh GM, frugal like a fox! So I have the chrome door handle vinyl overlays and my body guy did a shotty job on one or two of them so there are some wrinkles. I learned to live with it. The other day I'm at the mall and I parked next to a Chevy HHR. I noticed that their handles are a type of chrome knock-off yet they appear to be identical to the ones on the G6. Both being GM cars I am confident they could be exact replacements. I think it would be a nice look. Anyone have a comment on the feasibility? Check it:

    Yeah if those fit it would look pretty sweet, albeit a little tacky. Not sure what they are made of, considering how long they would hold up. But something to look into for sure.

      I don't think it would look so good on our cars, since there's little chrome on them. The HHR has that big, shiny grille to match the handle.

        paging shiny wheel man...

        If you have chrome wheels, they'd look good on most of the G6 body colors.

          I was thinking they might look good on the GTs with the chrome wheels or 6es with aftermarket chrome. Not my cup of tea, but they might look good.

              Seems to me more people are trying to lose the chrome look (ie the painted headlight pieces). Then again, if someone has chrome rims, it may add a little spunk, or it could be just too much chrome, I guess to each their own.

                          Jake they were talking about "spunk" not "funk" Dont worry it happens to the best of us sometimes.

                          I would have to see those handles on an actual car to give my full opinion. They may not look to bad but in my book, there is something called "to" much chrome

                            Shiny wheel guy is here. I have thought about these and doing the pillars and then going the new foglight grill. Might be a little too much but if someone wants to photoshop my ride then we would know what it looked like.
