Well I dont have 100$+ right now to spend on a dash kit, and I want to try and get my system in before school starts so I'm thinking line output converter. I'm going to be using 2 amps, one for my sub and one for my components. Now my question is, would it be better to tap into the output converter BEFORE the stock wires go to the amp, or AFTER the amp?

I dont know if one is better then the other, but i would imagine after the amp (near the speakers) would be alot easier. I think that is pretty much what everyone else did, with exception to a few others. Actually i can only recall seeing (1) post where someone connected near the Hu.Hurricanes are like women : when they come, they're wet and wild, but when they leave they take your house and car.

I would go before the amp. You will have trouble getting the voltage down after the amp. I know because I cooked like 3 in a row in a buddys grand am. So before would be better.Originally posted by NikkiYou are an e-pimp.Originally posted by beitodesstrafeI tried too, my penis way too big

no you are just tapping off the lines. So you can get some connectors thet will snap on the line and you can plug your new wire in to the tap. The converter also dampent the voltage because you don't want 12 volts going into your rca inputs of your amp. It wont last long that way.Originally posted by NikkiYou are an e-pimp.Originally posted by beitodesstrafeI tried too, my penis way too big
