Hello -
I noticed that you have done some great work for the Saturn Community on Sixthsphere.com ( I am a member there) I am also a member on http://www.g6performance.com and we are looking for a company to create some suspension parts for the G6. The great thing is that we are not coilovers on all fours. we have the coilover in the front and just a shock in the rear.
I have worked with a few companies to create parts for the car and believe that your expertise in suspension will bring much benefit to our community as well as be quite profitable for you because you are the only one out there with the product.
please let me know either way if you are interested in working on this project
Thank You

Hello Ryan,
The setup that you have described for the G6 is very similar to other OEM
design such as the 350z/370z/G35/G37, newer Civics and others as well
where the rear is a shock with adjustable separate spring assembly. If we
develop coilovers, it will be similar to this design (coilover unit in
front, adjustable spring and shock in rear), as this would be true with
any other suspension manufacturer.
We would be interested in developing any product if there is enough
interest. However, given the economic situation, especially within the
auto industry, we are not able to produce these coilovers without a group
buy commitment from the G6 community.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Sincerely,
Dan

Dan -
Great to know that you are open to the opportunity! currently we are using springs from Eibach, Canuck, and Sprint. would those springs be compatible with the shock/strut combo that you would create or would they be totally your products? What is a ball park price of a finished product? How many people do you want to get together for an interest / 1/2 payment group buy (meaning half of the money up front and half upon completion)? What would be a time frame if we could get people together? 2 months -6 months?
Please let me know and i will open this up for discussion with the community.
Thank You
