  • 60K Mile Checkup!

I have a 2005 G6 and am reaching 60K miles in a few weeks... i recently changed my rotors, pads etc, and been changing the oil every 3K/4K miles for the past 4 years.....

i recently took a trip to New Hampshire 6 hour drive (with no issues) but after letting the car rest for 2 days i tried starting it and it miss fired twice, then it turned on no problem, have not had that issue come up again... since then i drove back from NH to NY with no problems.....

It might have just been the fact that you drove so much left it for two days and then tried starting it. The car got used to driving and then an abrupt nothing might have been a bit weird for it.

It might be an electrical problem as well.

It could be anything! Has anything happened SINCE you posted this?

Have you used any fuel additives like injector cleaner?

My GTP does that ALL the time after I let it sit for 2 weeks. As I work alot in the summer and after not driving it for 2weeks I do remote start I always get a CEL for random miss fire. If I start it by key it rarley does it. No one can figure it out
