Does your passenger airbag light say "ON" when someone is in the seat? It says "OFF" when no one is in it and if the pass doesnt put on the seatbelt the light flashes but I noticed that the airbag light doesnt say "ON".
If the passenger doesn't have the seatbelt on, the icon will flash. It's pressure activated so if someone is in it the airbag will adjust accordingly. Not sure quite what you mean, but that's how it works. It might take a few seconds to switch over.
