  • New Air Filter....YAY

I decided I would go to the local Autozone and do this myself...came out dirt cheap and worked out nice...does anyone know if I should just tear the resonator out for more sound...or is it cool to just leave it intact and just go down and buy a new muffler....I am just looking for sound and nothing more...plus the fun of tinkering with the car.

it sounds good when you hit the gas good but its not as loud as i was suspecting it would be...do you think I should get rid of the resonator that should be housed in the fenderwell?

that really wouldn't do you anygood, because now the open filter is sucking in air...it's as loud as it's gonna be. That resonator was only good for keeping the sound down when it was attached to the airbox.

kool thanks for the info...now i just want to add a muffler...i need to decide on what to get...but im happy with this set up and it was a hell of a price for the entire set up and only took like 20 minutes to do.
