  • Factory provided Jack Tools

Had a flat today and used the scissors jack in the car. There was a short yellow handled hand tool attached to the jack. It had a loop on the end of it. Can't figured out what this tool is used for. Anyone know?

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about I was wondering the same thing.

I think it's used to deflate your tires.

I'll check when I get a chance. Exactly what bolt does it extend?

It extends that long bolt that hold your spare tire and jack.

When you put your spare on, and throw your flat tire in the back, you can secure it with that big plastic washer. You have to extend the bolt to make up for the width of the full size tire.

Oh ok then. That makes sense.
