Ok I noticed when I got back from cali that my lights on the ac unit that are around the nobs are almost white. Trard the center of the unit they are red then as they go tward the outside they lighten up to almost white. When I turn the dimmer switch down fast all the lights in my vesh and radio turn down fast but the ac slowly dims. I have never noticed this before but I could be just being anal. Take a close look and tell me if your ride does the same. It just doesn't match and I think I would have seen that before.

I have not noticed to much irregularity in my lights, but i will have to check them out one of these nights. :smoke:

I just went out and tried mine out.. you are correct.. everything else dims fast.. but the A/C lights and such others down there fade realllllll slow. I see what you mean. Odd! :warped:

Ok that makes me feel better. What about the color? Mine is lighter tward the outsides of the knobs. like the 1234 the 1 is more white than the 4. It just doesn't seem right to me. I just checked out mine and I don't experience anything you've described. All my lights fade at the same time and eveything is red (numbers 1-4 are all equally red)
I had the key on ACC (the engine wasn't running), although I don't think this would have any impact. Maybe the '06 has a different setup than the '05.COULOMJO - 2006 G6 V6

i better check this out tonight. I'm pretty sure the AC lights do dim at a different rate when you turn the knob really fast, but I have to look at those knob lights to see if they're white.-Mike #1
