Originally only the G8 and G6 GXP wasnt supose to servive for a 2010 model year run as the last year for Pontiac. Now GM said all cars are cut except the Pontiac Vibe, the matrix sister car availble to the public.

To the non public, there will be a 2010 G6 but only under government contract and no to the public.

OH yeah, just what I always wanted for the last car for Pontiac!!! A vibe! I just can't wait to save up some money ( providing i have a job) so i can trade in my civic and buy a VIBE. I sure hope they make some special edition... Ooooo I know a Vibe BE ( bankrupcty edition). That would be totally sweet.... a prefect reminder of how a company can drive a brand into the ground!

Actually. I really like the Vibe The AWD 2.4L's are awesome commutor cars for up here. Good gas mileage, AWD in the winter, and seats plenty with plenty of room

Vibes aren't bad cars... I sort of liked them too... but for the last cars for pontiac, it's just sad to see that they were the choice. I'd prefer to see the 6er or the 8.

If that is the case, at least change its name to Vibrator, to make it appropriate as the final offering from Pontiac. GM has rammed everything else up our wazoos, the last item might as well bring some pleasure!

I was supposed to get a vibe. It was a fun little car. I wouldnt trade it for my 6 but if i was still without a car i would look at them.I was looking at them while looking for cars

NAh....Pontiac already bought those Matrixes so they need them to sell anyway.

As for the 888 G8... I highly doubt that anybody would buy a dead brand unless is a very special collectible edition, like the G8 GXP or something like that.

Way to go GM!!! The last Pontiac will be a half-bred with Toyota.
When you have vehicles like the Vibe and the Montana no wonder the Pontiac brand is damaged and has no identity with the public.

Vibe stops production in August of 2009. Just posted today.

And the Vibe is actually a very very nice car, you can make fun of Aztek's all you want but the Vibe is really nice. AWD 4 banger... I'm trying to find a cheap used one for a winter beater.
