Well, I finally completed my very first test and tune night!! I had a freaking blast and saw some AMAZING cars. I ran without my spare, jack and back seat. Unfortunately had 3/4 tank of gas and forgot to air down the tires on my first two runs but then took them down to 24 lbs.
My best two runs were 14.350 and 14.359. Got my 60' down to 2.1 on LS2's if you can believe it!! Can't wait to get my GY Eagle GT's. I'll be pushing 14.1 - 14.2 no problem. I think if I had gone there with 1/4 - 1/8 tank of gas, I'd shave into the 14.2's. Track conditions were pretty good. Elevation is 497'. They had bad track prep though. In fact, their only track prep they had was wetting down the burn out box about once every other car or so. Zero prep on the line. But, eff it, I had some good runs. Now for the proof!!

I'm putting the upper intake manifold insulator in tomorrow so I'm headed back to the track. Hopefully that will again help with my 60' by giving me more torque down low. I'm afraid I've gotten as good as possible with these LS2's though, so I may just have to buy those new GT's sooner than I though. Oh and my HSRK isn't in yet (next week) so I'm really looking forward to next Friday.
On a race note, I went up against a Mustang GT running 13.3, an old Impala SS with a 350 dropped in it which ran a 14.1 and a late model Tiburon with headers which only ran a 15.1. Don't know what I ran here but it was some foreign POS.
Out of my 6 runs, my very first was the slowest at 14.546 which I thought wasn't too bad for my VERY FIRST 1/4 race.
After the HSRK, manifold insulator and new tires, I have little doubt I'll be in the 14.1 - 14.0 range. This will be a 13 second NA car before I'm done. Come hell or high water....
