just made this about half hour ago...

0-60 in about 6.5 secs :smoke: (and I have a FULL tank of gas)

nothing too impressive... but decent for a 3500 lb. FWD

after I get my engine tuned in a week or so, I'll make another run...

that's pretty good. That exhaust must make quite a difference with the pickup and everything. Nice vid.

It could do better... but I need some better tires/wider wheels

if I stomp it, I lose traction and it knocks my 0-60 to about 8.something seconds

but easing into it isn't really ideal either... ah well, give me a month or so, get my ECU rewritten / engined tuned, some wider wheels, then we'll what sexy can do (assuming I don't snap an axle or something)

You'll break an engine mount before you snap an axle on this beast.. Trust me

        btw, nice run

Here you go. This is the GT-R clip of road/drive-by exhaust sounds. My connexion is not that fast for sending at about 100k. It's a 145mb file. You'll have to be patient!

Maybe I'm just an extreme newb-o but I can't figure out the whole "ease into it" techinque. If i ease into it too much my 0-60 is like 19 seconds...if I don't let it ease in enought i spin out, giving me a 30 second 0-60 (these numbers are obviously exaggerated )..........

What gives? My tires suck I guess, I get on it even just a little and it feels like I'm on ice.

Yeah, these tires do suck... (I've got some new wider wheels and nicer tires coming soon...)

As for easing into it... the best I can explain it is, when you accelerate, don't just drop it to the floor obviously, but slowly and smoothly depress it (it should take you about 1-1.5 secs to fully depress it) the main thing is you want to do is avoid any sudden changes in power, while still getting as much power as you can to the ground

Well I guess I'll just work on it... it's kind of rainy here now (hasn't been for the past 5 months, except for the 1/8th inch we got about 3 weeks back, so it's good to have) so I won't be able to do much...but we'll see
