07 GTP, 40,000 miles what to do for maitenance?

im about to roll over 40k in the GTP
next oil change im thinking about throwing new plugs in it (any reccomendations?)
anything else i should check over or do arround the 40K mark?

I would do the following:

engine oil
tranny oil and filter
brake fluid
coolant
plugs and check wiring
belt inspection.


although some says that changing tranny fluid is not necessary at this point, better safe than sorry.
Beware though.... is Dexron 4 not 3

May seem a little overkill but fluids are cheaper than repairs

From what I've read, don't stray away from the stock AC Delco plugs. Apparently our 6's don't seem to like Bosch or NGK plugs for some reason.

Have you checked your Owners Manual?

They have a little guide line and check list in the back.

change coolant and trans filter/fluid. Everything this should be fine.

Plugs are good for 100k miles
and coolant should be good for 5 years or 150k miles

as for tranny fluid DEX 6 is what it has to be DO NOT use dex 3
