Article says Impala, but it doesn't make sense. The Impala just came out for 2006, whereas the Malibu has been around since 2004. The Malibu is also going larger, as the Impala is going RWD, rumours say.

I wonder if this means the G6 is getting redesigned right after this?

cool, looks like the Malibu is gonna get a decent makeover.

i'm not a huge fan of the checkered paint job or the front end bra though, i would have gone a different direction with it myself.

The current model came out as a major rebodying for the first W-Body Impala. This model should last till at least 2009, with a mid-cycle refresh to stay until the RWD Impala debuts.

More news about this one is that it's still FWD Epsilon I. The G6 is going straight to Epsilon II for MY2009.
