  • Rear bumper shock absorbers

    I was hit from the rear by a small car and although there doesn't appear to be any damage aside from the bumper skin scuffed, I wonder if there are any energy absorbing parts that should be inspected or replaced. I looked under the rear bumper at allof the attaching hardware and other areas that may have had the force of the impact transmitted but did not see anything unusual.

    right behind the bumper theres a piece of for lack of a real term "styrofoam" that typicaly breaks after an impact. youd have to pull the bumper off to inspect/replace it
