Is it just dirty or something? My tires are now appearing as patches of brown. I tried wiping it off and it doesn't work. All 4 of them are doing it, including the one that I put in new after busting the old one.

yup its a common thing! Get a good degreaser/cleaner, clean em and tire shine them. They will look as good as they ever were

When I clean by wheels I spray the wheel cleaner on the tires. It makes them black again.
Then I shine them up with a tire gel.
