  • OEM Strut Spring Compressor

    Brand:OEM
Price: $35 in store, but online it says $50
    Purchased From: Autozone

    Installation: Really Simple To Use
Installation Time: 1 min to set on each spring
Any Installation Tips You Have: Make sure you have the 2 compressors on opposite sides of each other so the spring compresses evenly.

    Quality of Part: 10
    Product Performance: 10
Would you Recommend to Others: YES

    Any Other Comments:
I had never used a spring compressor before but, i learned how in about 2 min haha. Very easy to figure out and does a hell of a job. To make compressing the spring faster, instead of using a ratchet or a wrench, use an air gun. Remember to alternate from side to side so that you compress the spring evenly.

I will swing by Autozone within the hour.

Im still scared to mess with them damn springs though....

Also I have never busted apart a ball joint before.

I have new polyurethane bushings and new springs to install.
Ive had them for quite awhile....but was waiting for some help.

Guess I will tackle it alone.

my new neighbor built an 8 car garage and he has a few musclecars...
I think he may have a lift in there. hard to tell.
I would approach him but he lives behind a locked fence.

                        acreage has its dissadvantages....

Its like an 8 foot deer fence. There aint no wandering over there plus he has a
nice sized dog that smiles at me when I get close.

Dont know his number. May leave him a note in his mailbox to call me.

nothing says neighbor like "hello & let me use your stuff".
