Any shifting problems with the 6spd gtp sedans?

Well gm finally decided to buy my car back because of my panoramic roof problems and i cant find a coupe within 500 dollars of my sticker so i was looking at the gtp sedans. Im a little reluctant on getting a 6 speed because of all the problems i have read that they have in the coupes. I was wondering if these problems carry over to the sedans or not. After having all the trouble with my pano roof i really dont want to be having problems with my shifter. Thanks for the help

as far as i have read on here...the 6 speed is on both vehicles..and it is hit and miss, some people have no problems others do

there is a change in fluids that seem to help though

It can be a 'hit or miss' proposition, as stated above, but be sure to check for the 'date of manufacture'. If the car was built January, 2006 or later, you should have no problem with the 6 MT. A revised shifter was included in all G6 GTP's with 6 MT's, built in January , '06 and up.
