I have not installed either one of them, but what is your question? Maybe I can help, I work with satellites, and GPS antennas on a pretty regular basis.

Dell Axim, iGuidance, and a bluetooh GPS Receiver for me. :-)

I nice project would be getting the unit out of the Vettes/GPs (they use the same one) and retrofitting. Would be great if you could get the HUD too.

The HUD would be sick as hell in our cars, for some reason I love those setups in the GXP and vette.

Here's a pic of my Garmin. The only issue is it would be easy to steal. So I only use it when I need it. I paid like 10 bucks extra to insure it for a little more piece of mind.

                Sorry not the best pic.

I'm currently debating an Avic-N2/Avic-D1 or a custom installed Pentium M with a 7" widescreen touchscreen LCD. I'll have made a decision by spring, and I'll definately have pictures up.

How much was that Garmin? That looks pretty sweet up there, look good next to my sirius-I like having a bunch of little lit up screens on my dash.

Been reading up over at MP3Car.com? I think if there is a community that will come up with the best solution to the DIC in the G6 that's where it will happen. The people on that site come up with everything.

I ordered a second bezel for the radio area going to see what I can come up with.....thanks to the Smart Buy I can't do a whole lot to modding, but If I have a replacement bezel I'm not that worried about it.

I've been scratching my head on a solution too, because I NEED to have a stereo that plays MP3s. I thought about buying one of those Metra kits to disassemble for the DIC, but there just isn't any good place to mount it on the dash. If Pontiac didn't have so much concern for my passenger, I'd mount it above the glove box. Damn you Pontiac and your damn passenger-side airbags...Lol.
