No, it's not. Did you read the other threads he started about talking to ingen about making an intake for the 2.4 g6? This one doesn't throw a code, but theres really no gain...
doesn't look too bad but you should remove your cam cover and polish that bad boy up. I did mine when I had my cavy with the ecotec and it looked dead sexy. Ton of work but well worth it!

Oh hell I don't remember, it was a kit from harbor freight, had red rouge and white oxide polishes I believe along with a bunch of polishing wheels for my die grinder.

its a ton of work, you have to knock down any high spots or imperfections in the mold sanding by hand. Once everything is nice and smooth you can finally start polishing which makes on hell of a mess. Usually the ecotec cam covers are decent when it comes to manufacturing marks and spots to remove.
