K&N filter, modified stock air box and MAF, and custom intake piping (done, but needs more perfecting). Working on custom engine damper and mount (stock mount on engine is plastic and flex's terribly). Also about to port a TB.

Decided on THIS app for my Nexus 7 and an Amazon BT OBDII connector to log MAF numbers. I have a couple ideas I figure are worth a shot.

Has anyone found that the 3.6l + auto trans runs a little hot? I hace tranny issues last year on a really hot day I want to make sure it doesn't happen again what are your thoughts?

NOt to mention on a hot day after driving when I stop and get out the car I can feel A LOT of hot air coming from the engine bay. Temp gauge on my cluster looks okay where the heck is all this hot air coming from.

The stock gage is a dummy light only. All of the auto G6 trannies run hot. You can get an aftermarket cooler for it.

I am new to here and to G6's but am far from new to performance work. I have been stalking this site for a few days now and have seen a lot of posts, mostly older, referring to the GT-R exhaust system but there I have not seen where to get it. Is it still available? Contact info? I bought my wife an 08 GXP sedan.

Should I have any worries about Canadian winters and the additional trans cooler making things too cold and causing issues?
